Equation of state of quartz glass and cerium in their abnormal compressibility range

Abstract:
In this work, the semiempirical equation of state of quartz glass and polycrystalline $\gamma$-cerium are plotted and verified at the compressive pressures to 3 GPa. The proposed equations are shown to uniformly describe the thermophysical and physicomechanical properties of quartz glass and polycrystalline $\gamma$-cerium at their abnormal compressibility in compression. The room isotherms of these materials are discussed, as well.
