Abstract: For the first time, the results on the solubility and growth of new oligomers with a single conjugated core from solutions of organic crystals are reported. The new oligomers consist of benzothiadiazole, phenylene, and oxazole units and have various terminal substituents. Using DSC and TGA methods, melting parameters are found and thermal stability upon heating is studied.
Keywords: onjugated linear oligomers, phenylene, oxazole, benzothiadiazole, DSC, solubility, crystal growth.
