Abstract:
Structural phase transitions occurring at elevated temperatures in $\alpha$-titanium powder containing nonmetal microimpurities are investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, differential thermogravimetric analysis, mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction. The microstructural and energy parameters of these transitions are determined.
Keywords:
titanium, nonstoichiometric inclusion phases, structural phase transitions, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction analysis.
