Deterministic Systems

Simplified control procedure for nonlinear large-scale mechanical systems

M. Vukobratovich, D. Stokic

Belgrad, SFRY
Abstract: In the paper is proposed an engineering method for large-scale mechanical systems control, based on a two-level scheme: level of nominal dynamic states and level of dynamic stabilization. The synthesis of both the mentioned levels is presented in short. The paper treats the effect of large perturbations and shows the procedure for an optimal choice of the corresponding dynamic nominal state, according to the new working conditions of the system. The proposed control procedure is applied to the two large-scale mechanical systems.
