Изложены современные представления о соотношении между массой и энергией. Рассказано об истории возникновения архаичных терминов и понятий, широко используемых в литературе при обсуждении вопроса о массе и энергии, и приведены аргументы, обосновывающие необходимость отказа от этих архаичных терминов и понятий.
