Algebraic approach to infinite-dimensional Markov dynamics

I will explain how to construct a model of Markov dynamics with infinitely many interacting particles. The model originated from the problem of harmonic analysis on the infinite symmetric group. The construction is essentially algebraic (no advanced probabilistic technique is used), and the algebra of symmetric functions serves as one of principal technical tools.
