Learning theory and population genetics

Analogies between ideas from three areas are considered: statistical physics, machine learning theory, and biological Darwinian evolution. Population genetics type model of learning is discussed and some kind of Gibbs distribution of interacting genes for this model is described. Also relation to Gibbs distributions for natural language processing models is discussed.
