On the automorphisms of Mukai varieties

Mukai varieties of genus 7 to 10 are linear sections of homogeneous varieties. For certain critical dimensions, their generic automorphisms groups contain non trivial involutions and order three elements. The existence of these unexpected automorphisms is related to Vinberg's theory of theta-groups (joint work with Thomas Dedieu).
