Algebro-geometric solutions to the $2\times2$ Schlesinger systems

A $2\times2$ Schlesinger system is naturally associated with a family of hyperelliptic curves. In some cases, one can solve the Schlesinger system in terms of various quantities defined on these curves. We'll discuss and compare two such solutions and their tau-functions.
