Degenerate Sklyanin algebras and orthogonal polynomials

I will discuss the connections between Askey–Wilson polynomials, Heun operators and degenerate Sklyanin algebras of dimensions three and four. The $q$-para Racah polynomials will be seen to realize a basis for the finite dimensional representations of the latter. The Heun–Askey–Wilson operator will be seen to emerge in this context.
