Аннотация: Medical ultrasound imaging has become the most often used imaging modality for clinic in hospital, which is widely used in both diagnosis and therapy of the diseases. Therefore, more and more new technologies are developed in research as well as commercial product. In this talk, the main advances in bio-medical ultrasound imaging in HUST are reported. First, a 2D array probe based 3D ultrasound imaging system is established which can provide the 3D anatomical structures of urological organs such as kidney, bladder or prostate in real time with high resolution; second, a new ultrasound imaging technique for 3D breast image was designed which can provide a high resolution and speckle-free image, and can be used as a new tool for the screening of breast cancer; then, some preliminary experimental results including in vitro and in vivo of targeted nano-particles contrast agent are presented. The results showed that this agent is efficient to the imaging of tumor and could be used for the diagnosis of early liver cancer, the stability of the agent is still need to be improved; finally, a new instrumentation device called scanning Acoustic Probe Microscopy is introduce which can provide the morphological image in 0.1nm and the inner ultrasound image in 50nm resolution for both the hard or soft specimen such as silicon wafer or cells, which prove a powerful new imaging tool for the researches in both researches and clinic.
