Научная биография:
Родился в 1963 году в городе Алматы, Казахстан.
В 1985 году окончил с отличием математический факультет Казахского
государственного университета им. С.М. Кирова.
С 1985 по 1992 годы работал на математическом факультете КазГУ (стажер -
преподаватель, старший инженер по науке, старший преподаватель).
В 1992 – 1993 годы – заведующий кафедрой математической экономики
Казахского химико-технологического института.
В 1995 – 1996 годы – проректор, 1996 – 2005 – профессор Южно-Казахстанского
государственного университета.
В 2006 – 2009 годы – профессор Международного Казахско-Турецкого университета им. Х.А. Ясави.
В 2004 – 2018 годы – главный научный сотрудник Института математики и математического моделирования (Алматы, Казахстан), заведующий отделом.
С 2019 года – генеральный директор Института математики и математического моделирования (Алматы, Казахстан).
В 1989 году защитил кандидатскую диссертацию "О сопряженной задаче Дарбу",
по специальности 01.01.02 – дифференциальные уравнения.
В 1993 году защитил диссертацию доктора наук «Краевые задачи в областях с отходом от характеристики для
уравнений гиперболического и смешанного типов второго порядка»,
по специальности 01.01.02 – дифференциальные уравнения.
С 2007 года – доцент по специальности "Математика", с 2010 года – профессор по специальности "Математика".
Обладатель гранта «Лучший преподаватель ВУЗа» 2008 года.
В 2012 году избран членом-корреспондентом Национальной академии наук Республики Казахстан по специальности "Математика".
В 2013 году награжден Нагрудным знаком Министерства образования и науки Республики Казахстан «За заслуги в развитии науки Республики Казахстан»
Лауреат премии Союза молодежи Казахстана в области науки и техники за 1993 год.
Лауреат премии Республики Казахстан имени К.И. Сатпаева за лучшее научное исследование в области естественных наук 2015 года – за цикл работ «К проблеме базисности корневых векторов несамосопряженных дифференциальных операторов».
Лауреат Государственной премии Республики Казахстан в области науки и техники имени аль-Фараби 2020 года за цикл работ «К теории нелокальных дифференциальных операторов»
