On one stable birational invariant

I will discuss (some evidence for) the property of the projective space $P^n$ to be (rationally) fibred by (birationally) Abelian hypersurfaces. I will spend most of the time discussing how one extracts obstructions from this property to stable rationality of algebraic varieties.
