On second eigenvalues of closed hyperbolic surfaces for large genus

In this work we obtain optimal lower and upper bounds for second eigenvalues of closed hyperbolic surfaces for large genus. Moreover, we also study their asymptotic behaviors on random hyperbolic surfaces. This is a joint work with Yuxin He.
