Аннотация:
The purpose of the talk is to discuss several topics inspired by the
following question posed in the early eighties of the last century and still remaining
open: if the product of an algebraic variety and an affine space is isomorphic to an
affine space, then is it true that this variety itself is isomorphic to an affine space?
