The three point amplitudes and soft factors from the matrix model for M-theory

We will review the proposal by Banks, Fischler, Shenker and Susskind for computing amplitudes in M-theory via a matrix quantum mechanics. We then discuss a computation of the simplest amplitude, the three graviton amplitude, and apply this result to discuss the soft theorem from the matrix model point of view.
