Mathematics of Cryptography

Cryptology is an interdisciplinary area where mathematics is the foundation. Modern cryptography is based mainly on number theory, abstract algebra, probability and information theory. Recent developments have extended to wider and deeper mathematical use for lightweight cryptography, quantum cryptography and post quantum cryptography. This seminar will be a short and quick overview of mathematics applied in cryptographic schemes.
