Abstract: The concept of the mine geology emerged recently and it is not dedicated to searching fields, but how to evaluate deposits already found, its profitability, and its strategy of mining. It was the South African engineer and geologist Daniel Krige, who first proposed the use of mathematical methods in these problems and developped his own method (kriging) in the middle of the twentieth century. Since then, these methods have obtained the mathematical justification, various modifications have been developed for kriging, which found applications in a variety of commercial products, and successfully applied to solve practical problems of deposits assesment.
