Abstract:
In this talk we suppose to discuss some practical methods of pattern recognition (depending on the audience interests). Possible topics of the discussion:
* Isolated character recognition: Features, classifiers. Convolution networks.
* Object Recognition and Retrieval: Keypoints. Visual words.
* OCR: Oversegmentation graph. Hidden Markov Model. Adaption. Language modeling.
