Kodaira dimension of algebraic fiber spaces

I will tell about conjecture on relation between the Kodaira dimension of algebraic fiber space, variation of fiber space and the Kodaira dimensions of generic fiber and base. The talk will be based on a works of Y. Kawamata and E. Viehweg.
