Some mathematical aspects of thermodynamics

We will discuss how classical thermodynamics is related to contact geometry; statistical thermodynamics to multidimensional geometry; multidimensional geometry to the phenomenon of concentration of measure; the phenomenon of concentration of measure to the law of large numbers and the constancy of functions of a very large number of variables.
