The rationality of motivic zeta functions of curves with no rational points

In this talk we will show that the motivic zeta function of any geometrically irreducible curve is a rational function. The talk will be based on the article of the same name by D. Litt, who proved the trickiest part of the statement (when the curve has no rational points).
