On the scientific, educational and public activities of mechanics and engineers, five brothers Kirpichev

Kirpitchev brothers: Lev Lvovich (1840–1890), Konstantin Lvovich (1844–1910), Victor Lvovich (1845–1913), Neil Lvovich (1850–1927), Michael Lvovich (1847–1875), completed Polotsk Cadet Corps, then the military Academy. They became generals, professors, authors of textbooks on general and applied mechanics, strength of materials, geometry, left a significant mark in the design of engineering structures, as well as in the organization of scientific and educational activities in Russia in the second half of XIX – early XX century.
