Closures of orbits

A number of problems of representation theory, theory of algebras, algebraic geometry, singularity theory are reduced to the question of how to find out whether one of the two orbits of algebraic transformation group is contained in the closure of the other. Recently, this question becase the matter of active interest in the geometric theory of complexity, because it appeared to be linked with the famous P vs NP problem. I shall describe the algorithm, which gives a constructive answer to this question.
