On the distribution of the values of the divisor function

The talk deals with the progress in the problem of the distribution of multidimensional divisor function corresponding to the case of growing dimension made by the speaker. We obtain some new asymptotic formulas for the mean value of the divisor function for the cases when the dimension belongs to some special intervals. We also find the upper bound for the divisor function that depends on the value of the dimension of this function.
