Abstract: The Minimal Model Program is the attempt to classify projective varieties from a birational geometry point of view. Some of its main conjectures are equivalent to the finite generation of some adjoint rings, which is known to hold in the case of big boundaries. The aim of this talk is to present a new plan to obtain an effective version of some of these results. In particular, we will use Shokurov's log geography and its applications.
