Alireza Amirteimori works as a Full Professor in the Applied Mathematics and Operations Research Group in Islamic Azad University of Rasht, in Iran. Amirteimori completed his Ph.D. degree in Azad University in Tehran, Iran. His research interests lie in the broad area of performance management with special emphasis on the quantitative methods of performance measurement, especially those based on the broad set of methods known as benchmarking. His papers appear in journals such as Applied Mathematics and Computation, Journal of the Operations Research Society of Japan, Decision Support Systems, Global Optimization, Computational Economics, Transportations Research, Optimization, Measurement, Computers and Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Production Economics, Mathematical problems in Engineering and Journal of Applied mathematics.
