Biography
Biographical notes: Victor Mazur received degrees (MS in 1969, PhD in 1974)
in thermophysics and molecular physics from the Odessa State Academy of
Refrigeration, Ukraine, and a degree (Doctor Science, 1988) in thermal
engineering, physical chemistry, thermophysics and molecular physics from
St. Petersburg Institute of Technology, Russia. Since 1987 he has been a Chair of the Thermodynamics Department at Odessa State Academy of Refrigeration. His work covers a diversity of topics in global phase behaviour of refrigerants, engineering thermodynamics and multicriteria analysis of energy conversion systems under uncertainty. He is author or
coauthor of over 100 peer refereed articles, and an active member of various
international scientific organisations, serving as associate editor and
editorial board member on various international journals.
