Theory of Probability and its Applications.

Biography

The main part of articles is devoted to investigation of limit theorems of probability theory, the asymptotic properties of branching processes. For general branching processes developed research methods and limit theorems for various deviations of a broad class of functionals of processes under weak restrictions on the distribution of the number of offspring and life-length of particles. These methods can be applied to the renewal theory. In the last articles, new methods for studying random walks with inhomogeneous branching, queuing systems with continual branching random trees, multiplicative branching processes, models of the evolution of populations with a restriction on the total number of particles. Under the leadership of V. Topchii developing a methodology for the creation of electronic teaching and testing the theory of probability.
