He graduated from Saratov State University in 1966. He graduated from the post-graduate program of the Saratov State University in 1969. He defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 1971. From 1969 to 2021, he worked at Samara State University (assistant, associate professor, dean, head of the department, professor). Since 2020, I have been working as a professor at the Samara State University of Railways and Communications. Under my supervision, 5 post-graduate students were trained, who successfully defended their PhD theses. Scientific publications are represented by a list of more than two hundred titles. Research works are in the field of quantum theory, statistical physics, thermodynamics, quantum optics, methods of teaching physics, etc.
