Gesualdo Scutari is Professor with the School of Industrial Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering (by courtesy) Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. His research interests include continuous and distributed optimization, equilibrium programming, and their applications to signal processing and machine learning. Dr. Scutari is a Senior Area Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, and an Associate Editor of SIAM Journal on Optimization. Among others, he received the 2013 NSF CAREER Award, and the 2015 IEEE Signal Processing Society Young Author Best Paper Award and the 2021 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award. He is Fellow of IEEE.
