Construction of approximate methods for calculating of optimal open — loop and closed — loop controllers in quasilinear systems under regular and singular perturbations and under complete as well as incomplete information. Iterative procedures are obtained to determine approximations of controls with any given accuracy. The algorithms obtained are effective for realizations in various areas of engineering because computers may be used for numerical as well as for symbolic manipulations.
Biography
Graduated from Faculty of Phisics and Mathematics of A. M. Gor'kii Ural State University in 1959 (department of theoretical mechanics). Ph.D. thesis was defended in 1964. D.Sci. thesis was defended in 1987. A list of my works contains more than 130 titles.
In 1989 I was awarded the prize of the Ural State University for a series of papers on the analytic approximate methods in the control theory, active member of Petrov Academy of Science and Art (2002), President of Sverdlovsk regional department of Petrov Academy of Science (2002), active member of International Academy of Sciences of Nature and Society (1998), corresponding member of Engineering Academy of Sciences of RF (2000), memberships: European Mathematical Society (EMS), Gesellschaft fur Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik (GAMM), American Mathematical Society (AMS).
