In 1981 he graduated from the Far Eastern Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automated Control Systems. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Computer Engineering department, Pacific State University (PNU). Research interests: image analysis based on orthogonal and wavelet transforms, pattern recognition.
