In 1971 graduated from Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics faculty of N.I. Lobachevsky Gorky State University, specialty "Mathematics, Computational Mathematics", works as a leading researcher at the Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics and Mechanics of Lobachevsky University. In 1995 he defended his thesis on the specialty 05.13.17 Theoretical Foundations of Informatics” with assignment of the scientific degree of candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. In 1999 he was awarded the academic title of senior researcher. Research interests: pattern recognition and graphic image analysis.
