European Academy of Natural Sciences (2005), Russian Master of Communication (1996), Honorary worker of Higher school (2010). From 1996 to 2012 Dean of Education of Basic Telecommunications Faculty, since 1992 Head of Physics department of the Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (PGUTI). Research interests – physical problems of building info- and telecommunication systems, nonlinear electrodynamics of composite structures with anisotropic, non-stationary parameters electrodynamics subwavelength structures, nanostructures, optics, acoustics non-reciprocal structures.
