Graduated from Kuibyshev Electrotechnical Institute of Communications in 1972 (presently – Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics), majoring in «Radio and Television Broadcasting». Currently he is the professor of the Fundamentals of Design and Technology of Radio Engineering Device department in Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics (PSUTI). Research interests include colorimetry, TV, optics, image processing, cosmology and quantum physics.
