Graduated from the Vienna University of Technology 1998 majoring in Mechanical Engineering where he also received his Doctor in Engineering Science in 2000 and habilitation treatise in 2009. Has been working in the field of industrial laser applications at the Vienna University of Technology since 2001. He worked in various fields like laser-pulsing, laser-assisted forming, and ellipsometry. He is co-author of more than 90 scientific papers.
