In 1972 he graduated from the Medical faculty of Kuibyshev Medical Institute. Doctor of Science in Medicine (2004). Head of Diagnostic Radiology and Medical Informatics department of Samara State Medical University. Research interests: diagnostic radiology and
nuclear medicine in pulmonology, osteology, nephrology and oncology, information technology in medical imaging, computer-based diagnostic support system (CADe and CADx).
