Graduated from Moscow State Technical University, majoring in Optical Electronic Devices. Currently he works as the head of a department at the Novosibirsk Branch of The Institute of Semiconductor Physics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences «Technological Design Institute of Applied Microelectronics». Research interests are uncooled thermal vision systems, laser location of optical systems,
multichannel optoelectronic systems, and liquid optics.
