Biography

Is from the Republic of Ireland and studied for a degree in Physics at University College Cork. He joined the Microphontonic Research Group of School of Physics and Astronomy of St. Andrews University (Scotland) in 2001 to begin a PhD on Modelocked Semiconductor Lasers. His current research interests are in electron beam lithography for photonic crystals. He is now working as the coordinator of the ePIXnet Nanostructuring Platform. He is the author and à coauthor of 53 scientific papers with high citation index.
