The four campuses of Jinan University locate in three cities, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. The latter two, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao respectively, are two special economic zones in China and always take a leading role in the economic development in China.

The main campus of Jinan is in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province and the biggest metropolis in South China.

Guangzhou has advanced transport facilities. Baiyun Airport is one of the three top international airports in China. Expressways, metros, highways, waterways have combined to make this city one of the easiest accessible cities in China and an ideal place to explore other parts of the vast country.
