The Dynasty Foundation was established in 2001, its key mission being to support Russian research in the area of fundamental science in order to prevent the "brain drain" of Russian scientific talent to the West.

The Foundation's key projects therefore focus on Science and Education, with a smaller portion of funding also going to community-based and cultural programs.

The Foundation works both by giving grants through a strict application process, and by managing its own programs.

As a result, the Foundation is known not just as a source of funding, but also as a developer of effective and significant models for charitable activities.

In the scientific field, the Foundation works with the country's key institutions — both high schools (MEPhI, MIPT, MSU, etc.) and research centers (Lebedev Institute, ITEP, etc.).
