Belarusian Institute of Law, BelarusFounded in 1991 the Belarusian Institute of Law has been training lawyers and economists within the national system of education . The teaching staff of the Institute is represented by highly competent and experienced teachers and lecturers. The Institute trains future specialists on the basis of up-to-date technologies using also distance learning in the course of tuition. The high level of tuition is also provided by leading visiting specialists from Belarus, CIS, and other countries. The Institute closely collaborates with the Institute of Economy of the National Academy of Sciences, the Research Institute of Criminalistics, Criminology and Forensic Expertise, the State Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics, the National Center of Law Information in the Republic of Belarus. Major departments of the Institute are the department of law, the department of economics and law, the department of international law, the correspondence department of law, the Polish higher humanitarian school.

The department of economics and law trains specialists in book-keeping, analysis and audit; economics and enterprise management. The department of international law provides training of specialists in international private law, international commercial law and international customs law. It also trains political scientists in political power and political systems, and politics and state governing. The correspondence department of law trains specialists in legal aspects of national economy, taxation and banking. The Polish higher humanitarian school trains specialists in psychology as well as in legal aspects of psychology and foreign languages(English, German, Polish).

The Institute has its branches in Belarusian cities of Mogilev, Grodno and Baranovichi thus enabling young people from these large towns get higher education in law in their native towns.
