The Moscow State Industrial University is formed in 1960 and it is state institution of higher professional education in Russian Federation.
The university carries out educational activity and prepares for experts 13 engineering, 5 economic and a legal speciality on internal and in absentia forms of training both on budgetary, and on a contractual basis. At university are trained more than 20 thousand students, more than 3 thousand entrants. Also, some thousand students pass improvement of professional skill on various education programs.
Distinctive feature of the Moscow State Industrial University is the integrated system of training — organic compound of theoretical training of students with industrial activity at the base enterprises. Students, shown deep interest to scientific work, may continue training in postgraduate study.
In structure of MSIU there are six faculties (automobile; applied mathematics and technical physics; economy, management and information technologies; humanitarian; improvements of professional skill; pre-higher educations), six branches; institute of remote education; the higher school of leasing.
