Education at Hiroshima University is independently administered by each faculty and graduate school. Liberal arts education is provided mainly by the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences, and specialized education is provided by the respective faculties. Graduate programs are carried out by the respective graduate schools depending on the level of the course (Master's or Doctoral). Students are enrolled either in a degree program as undergraduate or graduate students, or in a non-degree program as research students or auditors.
