Mathematics in Quantum Technologies - 2022 (December 5–8, 2022, Moscow)
The conference "Mathematics in Quantum Technologies - 2022" continues the tradition of working seminars of the Department of Mathematical Methods of Quantum Technologies of the Moscow Institute of Sciences, which are held at the Mathematical Institute. V.A. Steklov of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 2017. This conference will be devoted to the discussion of problems in various fundamental areas related to the application of mathematical methods in the problems of quantum technologies, including quantum information theory, control of quantum systems, the theory of open quantum systems, quantum cryptography, quantum chaos, quantum adiabaticity and other areas. Quantum mechanics is one of the key scientific areas that serve to describe the fundamental aspects of the surrounding reality. At the same time, the mathematical methods of quantum mechanics play an important role in describing and solving various applied problems, such as in the physics of condensed matter, quantum cryptography, micro and nanoelectronics. The fruitful interaction of various mathematical areas, such as algebra, functional analysis, logic, etc., with various aspects of quantum theory has given rise to many related areas of research, which this conference will be devoted to.
