The main goal of the conference is to develop the scientific potential of the South of Russia in the field of fundamental and applied mathematics, strengthen integration ties with Russian and foreign colleagues, attract talented young people and educate a new generation of researchers.

The conference was established by the SCI VNC RAS in 2003 and will be held in 2021 for the 16th time.

It is supposed to work in four sections:

• Functional spaces and operator theory;
• Differential and integral equations;
• Mathematical modeling;
• Fundamental problems of the development of mathematical education.
