1. Information for Authors
The editorial board presents a multidisciplinary journal which
publishes papers on fundamental research in modern mathematics and
physics.
The journal publishes original papers, reviews and short
communications as well as information on recent conferences and
books related to mathematics and physics. Special issues
containing conferences, symposiums and workshops proceedings will
be considered through consultation with the editor.
The journal publishes four regular issues each year and represents
an official publisher of Siberian Federal University. Identical
standards of acceptance are rigidly applied to all submitted
manuscripts, which include at least two peer-reviewers approval
and editorial board acceptance.
The editor is allowed to improve style and language of a paper
without notification of the author if the changes do not concern
the scientific content and meaning. Submitted manuscripts must not
have been published, accepted for publication, or be under
consideration elsewhere.
There are three categories of contributions to the journal:
- Primary research papers generally comprise up to 12 printed
pages (including tables, figures and references) and constitute
the main content of the journal.
- Review papers are long papers which may comprise up to
20 printed pages; prospective authors should consult with the editor
before submitting such a long manuscript, either directly or
through a member of the editorial board. Review papers may have
quotations (text and illustrations) from previously published
work, but authors are responsible for obtaining copyright
clearance wherever this applies.
- Short research notes, 2–4 printed pages, presenting concise
information on current topics.
We publish papers written in Russian or English. For papers
written in Russian the authors must additionally supply the paper
title, the names of the authors, addresses of affiliation, an
abstract and keywords in English. We appreciate any efforts that
you make to ensure that the language use is corrected before
submission.
All manuscripts must be prepared in TeX system (preferably,
LaTeX2ε system), documentclass{article},
usepackage{amsmath, amssymb, amsfonts, babel[russian]}
etc. All manuscripts must be typed in a 12-point font and must be
double-spaced throughout with margins of 2.5–3 cm, including the
text, references, tables, table headings, etc. The abstract
should be written in past tense. The content of manuscripts should
be well-organized. The first page should contain the title of the
contribution, the names of the authors, the addresses of
affiliations, an abstract of up to 250 words and up to six
keywords. Use full names (including first names) of the authors
and complete addresses with ZIP or postal numbers.
Figures should preferably be submitted in vector graphics format,
and either embedded as such in a TeX document or saved in EPS
format.
The manuscript should be submitted by e-mail
to the editorial office at journal@sfu-kras.ru.
Please send files with .tex and .pdf extension for body text and .eps
files for graphics. The manuscript submission must be accompanied
by a cover letter from the corresponding author. It should contain
information on authors affiliations and addresses and a list of
potential reviewers. All subsequent correspondence
regarding the manuscript will be handled by e-mail.
Papers which comply with the journal scope and style are sent to
at least two referees. The authors must provide a list of three
potential reviewers who must be acknowledged specialists in the
concerned discipline. The affiliation, address and contact
information (telephone number and e-mail)
for each potential referee should be given. Manuscripts returned
to authors with referee reports should be revised and sent back to
the editors as soon as possible. Final decisions on acceptance or
rejection are made by the editor-in-chief. The journal intends to
publish any paper within 6 months of acceptance.
The corresponding author of each accepted paper should present to
the editors one hard copy of the act of expertise (for Russian authors only).
The author will
receive a Consent-to-Publish/Copyright form to sign and return to
the publisher as a prerequisite for publication.
