The Mathematics and Statistics Assistance Centre offers free tutoring to U.Vic. students. It is staffed with talented Mathematics and Statistics graduates eager to answer questions about your 100 level Mathematics or 200 level Statistics courses.

We help students work problems from the text and — to an extent — with assigned homework. We explain basic concepts. We do not replace lectures. If a student has missed a lecture, he/she should try to obtain the notes from another student.
