Hyperbolic models in the mechanics of heterogeneous media

References:
Abstract: Several hyperbolic models of a multivelocity heterogeneous medium are discussed. It is shown that the medium model with a gasdynamic kernel well describes the qualitative and quantitative behavior of gas-liquid mixtures in the entire range of gas concentrations. Combined with the nodal method of characteristics, this model is used to compute a number of Riemann problems in a dispersion medium.
